Ways to keep knowledge from leaving the organization:
Avoid having one person fully handle an important project. There is always room for improvement when there is other opinions involve.
Prevention is better than correction
Focus on getting the correct work instructions where all staffs are able to follow and work with ease. Retaining the more experience worker would be an additional advantage to the organization. However, there are turnover that is unavoidable and this will make the work instructions handy.
As the management of the organization, it is crucial to know the flow of processes going on within each job scope. Else, the whole organization would be reliant of “staff” which is not a good idea.
