It's tedious (we know!) but it's absolutely necessary if you want to complete your application as quickly as possible.

You can download the latest version of it at the Australian Government Department of Education and Training website.

Keep checking your application status

Why? The HITS does not check your application content nor supporting documents. If it is ever incomplete, your application will be reset to 'Draft' and you will be required to provide all the necessary information.

However, if the department requires more information in the approval process, you will receive a Request for Further Information (RFI).

You can also receive RFI or Draft notifications via HITS.

Applying for both HEP and VET?

We know, some of you are overachievers. Not a problem! You can apply for both as long as your information is current. You will also need to include the relevant policies and additional information for each sector. The HITS will simply list you as a dual applicant.
